Changes are Hard

Sometimes life can be so hard.
I shouldn't complaint, though
At least I have a roof and food.
But when your heart aches you need to take it off
Mine does very bad right now
Withing few weeks many things have happened.
Changes are hard for me, especially those that were unplanned or circumstances made you to do them.
We had to move to Ogden. I hated the idea since the beginning.
Were 3 long days of packing, cleaning, carrying stuff and feeling sad.
Christopher and I have been very sick for weeks already, so I couldn't help Brett very much.
Then he also got sick. He got stressed. He got sad. His back was hurting and he was trying to be strong.
Everything has a limit. When you push and push you pass that limit and bad things can happen.
Right now, I'm in Ogden, still sick and Christopher is coughing. It is very cold. We feel lonely.
I never thought I would say this but, I'm missing Salt Lake City.
We don't know for how long we will be living here. It will depend on when and where we find a job.
That certainly suck! I need to get established, make plans, meet people and feel that I belong to somewhere.

I'm about to cry right now! I am so excited and happy and screaming like crazy (Don't judge me he is my first baby!) Since Christopher was in my belly I knew he was going to be very hype-active. At two-week-old he rolled over, at 5 months he sat and stood up with little help, now he is seating up by himself and today...he stood up with not help at all! It was a big surprise, I wasn't expect it. I was looking for jobs in the Internet, I don't know why I turned my head and found him seating in the edge of his chair playing with his piano then he just stood up. Of course I run to film him.
(Ignore the mess, we are packing up cause we are moving and yes, I do still have the Christmas tree!)

Oh and he is sick with fiber poor little guy.

This was the first video I filmed but I wanted you to watch the other first. Here you will see him scratching the piano with his fingernail. He loves to feel textures so he is always scratching things. Make sure to watch the whole video.

A couple years ago, Brett and I went to California to meet my little twin sisters. They are about 10 years younger than me. We had a blast and got to do many excited things. The most awesome of all was that one of my dreams came true, I went to Hollywood! The Universal Studios is a fascinating place. Even if I were the best writer I couldn't put into words my feelings for you. You came into my life in the best moment, just when I needed you the most. Your smiles, hugs and adorable kisses helped me to survive the nightmare of the depression I was in. When I felt that I couldn't handle it anymore you took my face and saw me directly into my eyes. I understood then, I had someone to fight for. I felt stronger. I felt the desire to live.

Waking up wasn't that painful anymore because you awake me caressing my face and kissing me.
Little by little I started to give thanks for another day just because I could play with you and have your love.

Keep Going, Don't Quit!

It's incredible how sometimes when you need something to cheer you up you find it in unexpected places. Today I woke up feeling very down. I told to myself that I should quit my dreams and goals. I wanted sleep more but when you have a hyperactive baby that is impossible! So I came downstairs and force myself to eat something. Then Christopher and I were in the computer and I found that amazing quote in Pinterest. Just exactly what I need. I think I should keep going. Hopefully one day I will achieve my goals and my dreams will come true. I have to work hard and don't give up.

Barely a few hours old he was very alert already, he was very interested in a painting that was in our room in the hospital, the nurses were surprised and came in just to see him.

When he was only two weeks old he rolled over

He blows kisses already, every time he sees me he blows me a kiss, how cute is that?

He loves textures, every time he touches something new he scratches it with his fingernail to feel the texture and to hear the sound it produces when he does it.

When he wakes up he doesn't cry as usually babies do, he talks and laughs and as soon as he sees one of us smiles big.

When he was about 4 months Brett taught him to give kisses in the nose he has been doing it since then. I ask him to give me a kiss in the nose and he does it.

And before that Brett taught him to touch his nose when we said "show me a nose"

He loves to do sounds with his mouth, I don't know how he learns it but he comes up with a different sound, the other day he was doing the sounds of the car and was waving his arms.

As soon as he started eating solids he grabbed the spoon and ate by himself. He likes to be independent.

When he was about 3 months old I was eating an apple, he decided he wanted to try it and grabbed it from my hand and started eating it. It was so funny and so unexpected

He doesn't like to wear socks and hats so he just pull them and throw them away.

He is an sneaker! He is always is sneaking from his chair

He speaks more Spanish than English, yes you read it right, he speaks a little already!

He is only 7-month-old and he can say agua (water) tia (aunt) hola (hello) he calls me ma, ma, ma and da, da, da to Brett or sometimes says na, na, na and ta, ta, ta

At 5 months he grabbed my fingers with each hand and pulled himself to seat then immediately got up and now he is already seating up by himself!

ah and he is giving a few steps already

He is obsessed with his hands, he looks at them for long time, touches, turns them

He loves to talk on the phone, I read that usually babies don't do that until 18 months and he has has been doing it since he was 3 months and now he takes the cellphone by himself and talks

Waking up has a new meaning for me and for Brett. Christopher wakes us up caressing our face and kissing us. He is such a loving little boy.

Letting Go of Who I was...

I am finally getting the past go. It hasn't been easy. It took a while, too long I would say.

The past sometimes is like a chain that tangle our body, hopes, memories and feelings and keep us unnecessarily suffering.

I have been through this. It is painful. It made me suffered being melancholic trying to live again precious moments I lived with friends and family in Honduras. Memories are memories, we can't live them again.

I'm finally untangling myself and walking to my present and getting ready for the future.

I'm forgiving those who intentionally and by accident hurt me even though they haven't asked for forgiveness, but that doesn't matter.

I am learning to forgive myself for the mistakes I made and trying to learn from them.

I'm letting go of who I was to become who I want to be.

I can tell you that I am happier now, I am feeling wiser and more beautiful inside and outside.

Loving One Another

These last 6 years have been the hardest years of my life. I came to the US when I was only 20. It was the first time I'd left my family and country. I was extremely sad, confuse and felt a desperate need for love and company. Sadly, there weren't many people there for me. One of my weakness is that I really hate solitude. I like to have my moments of solitude to enjoy myself and to read, but I like to know that there is someone there for me to laugh with me and to cry when I am sad.

During this 6 years, specially the first 3 years, I have had to face my weakness, it has been painful and hard. I remember becoming bitter and angry. Since I was a child I didn't like to see people alone so I would befriend them.
I would say hi and offer my company. I visited those who were inactive in the church or were sick. I felt happy doing it, so when it was my turn to be visited, to be loved and comforted and nobody did it I felt disappointed and mad. The time passed and I grow to think that if people were like that to me I should be like that to them. Wrong! That is what I learned today, that thinking is wrong.

A beautiful lady in the church reminded me the importance of loving and serving one another.
I am so glad that I decided to walk in the cold to go to church with my baby boy, I learned an eternal lesson.

Loving one another

Sometimes we just have to hold someone's hand or give him or her a hug to make them feel loved. I wish someone had hold my hand during that hard time. I wish someone had given me a hug. I was judged and hardly criticized, I got to believe that I really was a bad person, that I was less and stupid. My selfsteem was totally destroyed. I became depressed and anxious. When I cried because of the solitude, homesicknesses and sadness I was shewed up. Things had been so different if they just had hugged me and loved me. I'm sure I had shed less tears and my heart had healed faster. But that is past. My present is better and my future will be a lot better.

I do want to thanks though, 4 people who without knowing helped me to feel better.

One of them is a old man who I met in the falls in Idaho Falls. I used to go there to use the internet and to see people play with their children, I felt less alone. That afternoon, I was feeling so depressed that my heart ached. That man sat by me and started talking about life, then we went for a walk. God bless him wherever he is now.

I was sitting outside my house with the door open, was alone and feeling homesick. From nowhere a little girl about 12 year-old came and started talking to me, she was sweet and kind then she asked to ride bikes with her, I agreed of course! I love riding bikes. That afternoon a big smile was drawn in my face :)

We feel more love when we serve one another

A few months after I moved to Salt Lake City a lady from the church sent me a letter. She asked me how I was feeling and offered her help in anything I needed, including just to talk. I didn't know her and she didn't know me. But she learned someone had moved to the ward and decided to be kind to her (me). She made my day bright!

I suffered post-partum depression plus many other bad things that have been happening to me, during that time and now my friend Flor Olivo has been there to help me and to listen. God bless her heart and her beautiful little family. Gracias amiga!

I remember one time when I was little we didn't have money to celebrate Christmas neither to buy presents, so my dad made to my brothers two little guns from a piece of wood with a knife.
I believe it was the best present ever to them and to me, because seeing him working hard to make something for my brothers made me feel happy.

My dad worked under the sun, for many exhausting hours, for many years, with little food in his stomach to earn some money to buy food for us. He didn't complaint. He was happy to do it. He wanted to see us happy.
He took me to the hospital every time I got sick and bought me medicines.
He did the same for my siblings and for my mom.
He protected us from people who wanted to hurt us.
He had felt sad when we were sad and celebrated our happiness and achievements
He advised us and guided us
He has been there no matter what.
He is one of my greatest blessings. He is my hero. He is my dad.
I love him with all my heart.

The Best Present Santa has Given to Me!

The door of our tiny “apartment “was open. In the livingroom-bedroom-kitchen was a squared-wooden table made by one of our mom’sfriends where we sat to eat and to watch tv. That morning my older sister who was 8, my brother Allan whowas 1 and I about 5 year-old were eating bananas and milk, a delicious and theonly breakfast my mom could afford. We were happily and innocently laughingwatching Tom and Jerry.
Allof a sudden a man appeared in the door and interrupted our morning ofjoys. He told my sister that mymom had sent him to take the tv to clean it because it had cockroaches. I remembered thinking “yeah our tv hasa lot” he told her that my mom was wearing a long yellow skirt. We believed him. She was wearing thatoutfit and our tv had cockroaches. My mom had just left to work and of course she couldn’tafford to pay a babysitter, we took care of each other and of ourselves. My sister turned off the television andhe unplugged it then he put it on his shoulder and walked away. That was thelast time we watched Tom and Jerry in our little red- color tv.

My poor sister was all scared when she told my mom, I stillcan remember her face. When my mom heard “mom did you send a man to take…” shescreamed in horror. She thought my sister was going to tell her that she hadsent a man to take my brother Allan. I was so little but I could felt grateful because he took the televisionand not any of us. He didn’t hurt either. We couldn’t believe that someone was able to steal something from threechildren and to lie in that way.

We didn’t have other television for a long time, there wereother priorities such as food and rent.

Walking through the crowded streets of Las Vegas with mysister, my husband and my 6-month- old baby boy I remembered about that. Thistime I didn’t feel sad, I actually felt grateful. About twelve years later, we were able to enjoy somethingthat we even imagined we could enjoy someday. Celebrating Christmas with my sister in Vegas had been thebest present Santa had given me. For Santa, I mean my Heavenly father, of course.

I have to thanks to threepeople for making that happened. First to God, then to my husband and to mysister because of her persistence, hard work and dedication she could graduatefrom collage thanks to it she could get a good job and thanks to it she couldgot a tourist visa and could afford coming to visit her little sister.

Blessings I've Found on my Way

Lately I've been waking up to a dark world...to sad feelings and unless nightmares...but I Do have to recognize that I've found many things which have made my life better during this exhaustible and scary walk along this strange long road.

I don't know if he found me or I did find him or we both were looking for each other and were lucky enough to meet us on the road. This little handsome man is for sure my greatest blessing, the love of my life and the reason why I keep walking. I'm sorry ladies but he is only mine! For those who didn't know I've infertility challenges, so he is also my personal miracle. I love you clomiphene thank you for helping me to become a mother!!!

There are not words to describe my feelings. I just can say I am deeply happy, more than happy.
The love of my life, my greatest miracle is here. He is wonderful. He is just perfect. I love him more than anything and I know he loves me. I can feel his love when he looks at me, when he touches me. There are not greatest blessing than the one of being a mom. I love being a mom! It's the most exhausted job and the best job ever. Fun and Relax

I got to spent almost a month in my beautiful country. Brett arrived latter and we have a blast with my fam. My mom and my sister gave us a touristic package to the famous island "Islas de la Bahia"
It was a long but fun trip. First we ride a bus for 6 hours, then we took a boat and then a taxi. The hotel was a dream, all inclusive. We ate a lot and got to do snorkeling and ride the banana.

Pregnant, missing family like crazy, sometimes too sad and frustrated, yeah this was a very hard semester. I thought I wouldn't able to make it but I DID IT!!!! We did it!
It was awesome to attend the commencement with the love of my life, actually with the two loves of my life, my little guy and Brett. At the middle of the ceremony I started having contractions I was FREAK OUT and they were so painful thanks goodness nothing happened.
This time I got a B.A. in Mass Communication, emphasis in Journalism and Brett got a B.S. in Chemistry.

Now the hunting job started wish us luck. I am planning on getting a master in Journalism focusing in Latin America's Politics but not now, maybe in a year. For now I want to work and just have fun. Life is wonderful. Thanks Renee, Bruce and Shay for coming and support us.

We are having a BOY!!!!

My mouth still OPEN, taking advantage of the cheap technology in an undeveloped country we decided to have a 4D ultrasound. I thought we were just going to confirm that the baby was a girl so I could start buying clothes....

As soon as I saw the legs I thought it was a boy, just before the Dr. said, "it is a boy” I had told to myself, that is my boy and I was right! It is so funny, my mom and dad have 3 grandsons they wanted a girl and Bruce and Renee 7 have granddaughters obviously they wanted a boy, this time God pleased the Bensons.

The proud grandma as soon as she saw our boy she forgot she dreamed with a girl and started screaming and also my sister did, the Dr. was laughing. They both hurried to buy clothes for our little piece of heaven. My boy is so lucky! I love you mom, thank you so much, I love you Michelle, our boy says thanks.
Too bad I can't upload the video, you can see very clear when he is moving, he moves all the time. I almost cry when he touched me as if he was caressing me, he did it several times. He also touched his face with both hands, so cute! There was a moment when he stretched, I could see his big legs and arms. My boy is the cutest boy!!!! I love you honey, thanks for making me so happy. I promise I will find you a name very soon, and It will be a pretty name. I love my two boys, I am so lucky.

I went to the doctor because of an abdominal pain, he asked the typically questions then he said - Do you think you can be pregnant? Me? No, I am not lucky- Well you need to be tested just in case.
Minutes passed and I entertain myself reading and then he entered to the room and immediately said -Well girl it seems that you are PREGNANT - what? are you sure? -Well, that's what the test says - Are you sure? hahaha OMG I couldn't believe it. Since that moment I love my child, I love her, I love her and I love her. She is already a member of our little family. My life would not be the same without her.
I am so happy things turn as I planned, my little piece of heaven will be born after my second graduation. I made sure to get all the education possible before becoming a mom, I want to make sure my baby will have all the necessary. I can't wait to have her in my arms and see her beautiful face looking at me when I breastfeed her. Become a mother is for me, the most wonderful miracle. I am so happy because I am able to give life.

This was a wonderful year! Full of love, sacrifices, tears, laughs, accomplishments and much more.

One of my crazy dreams came true aka I graduated with a Bachellor degree in Film and Media Art. I dreamed studying film since I was a child but there is not such a degree in Honduras. It was hard, it was fun and it was all worth it!

Now I know what Nahomi Camber, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston and all those beautiful women feel when they are modeling for the lenses. It is way fun! I felt like a celebrity. The make up takes about two hours then the hair 1 hour and a half and be ready to be modeling for about 5 hours and changing clothes, accessories and poses. I love my life with all good and bad things.

I am so happy for having Brett as my husband, he is a great man, an example of pure love and kindness. I am so blessed, I love you Baby. He surprised me on Sunday morning with a pink rose, a special card and chocolates! And on Monday he took me to Rodizos Brazilian restaurant we eat for about 3 hours meat, meat, meat!!!! I love meat, and the best of all is that we DON'T get fat awesome!!!! We had a great time.

He is also so lucky to have me, I am just what he needs and wants; sexy, beautiful, kind, smart and funny! ah I almost forget it, I am also humble!!!! hahahaha He likes to take me pictures and I love to model for him, here the dress I wear in Valentine's day

So halloween party, first, we went to the movie theater to watch scary movies Paranormal (pretty bad movie) and Saw 6, Brett and I are big fan of Saw movies. After that we spent some time taking pictures at the mall then we ran to catch the train to go to the nightclub! oh yeah

Summer=Family

Since a child I have believed that the most important thing we can have is the family.

We had lot of fun playing with these crazy and beautiful girls. The cave wasn't so pretty as others, but it was fun walking through it holding the hand of Kaitlyn and barrowing her the camara so she could capture every moment of the trip. After saying good bye we head to the lake to film some scenes of my documentary that by the way I got an A yuhooo!!!

Dreams are coming true

OMG I can't believe it my crazy dreams are coming so true!!! I remember myself wanted to be a fabulous director/filmmaker/scriptwriter I wrote my own play when I was 11, cast the actors, designed the set, direct and my wonderful play was watched for our neighbors who gave us money at the end of the play and we bought candies! yeah.

I also adapted Hanzel and Gretel and the story about that guy who hate christmas which I forgot the name. Took acting classes and now....some years later....I blink my eyes and I am writing a scary screenplay which was so liked for my smart classmates, professors and my adorable husband. I am directing my own documental and narrative projects and editing them!!! What else can I ask life for now? I am happy!

My sweet young women president taught me to set me goals and workd hard to achieve them and I doing it I am so, so happy and proud of myself . Thanks Mami and Brett for support me and love me.

It is so right procastinate homework to go to have fun with our amazing, funny and freaking awesome friends! Yeah the best desicion we had ever taken! Lol

One thing I love about telling to my girly friends about cheap clothes in Park City' outlets is that they ask us to take them and that means....clothes for me too!!! Thank you my boy love ya my little piece of heaven kisses...well back to the trip with our friend we had an unbeliveble time Brett and I ride the fast little cars on the alpine slide, and they, I mean, our brave friends rode the Zip-line what a great time! Jelous?

Our anniversary was on April 15th and to celebrated we went to Britney Spears' concert! is there a better way to celebrate an anniversary? I don't think so! I truly love Britney...I know, I know what you are thinking, but for me she really ROCKS!!! hahaha I love Brett more than in the past becasue he was so sweet to accept to go to the concert... and here is a little secreat I discovered him singing a little bit of one of the songs and moving his legs as he were dancing!!! hahaha
Don't get mad at me honey that is so natural everybody loves Britney (at least me) I will be eternaly thankfull with you I always dreamed to go to one of her concerts and thought that it would be impossible, but it wasn't! The show was awesome, she looked so pretty and sang so well

We are sooooo happy!Brett and I finally could go to visit his family in Idaho, it was a great,fantastic,fun, funny trip! We were treated with so much love and we feelt so welcome and special...thank you so much Renee,Bruce, Shay, Mark, Wendy, Jeremy, Gma and Gpa Sondereger and Gma Benson. The food was sooo delicious and I had so much fun playing that game altought I never understood it hahaha and thank you for our christmas presents I really like my doll and my organizer and everthing..!

Life is too short, but also too beautiful! From a moment to other things can change, some leave this world and others come.
On Friday there was a big torment, but my husband and I had to go to the University, when we were driving in the parking lot the car slide, but Brett could take the control, but the car slide again, everything past in seconds, all I could see was the street to the right and a light pole in front, thank God Brett could make a half turn and we crush the light pole, I hit my back a little bit and the car’s bumper and other things are destroyed, but it was better because if Brett hadn’t turn we had laps at least 3 times and fall into the street where we had been hit for other cars.
We are deeply thankful with our heavenly father for take car of us. For gave us the chance of be a little more time in this world. I am so happy that we will be able to see my family this next week and share with them.
Remember life is too short, don’t waste your time!!!!

The Power of the pray

I feel deeply thankful for having a special way to communicate with our heavenly father, praying. I know, for sure, he listen and answer our prays. I know he loves us. We are his children and we can communicate with him every time we want. He always will be there for us and he will give us the peace we need. I have seen many miracles around me and in my family. I testify that pray bring peace to our heart and to our homes. Families get close and the sadness goes away. I love you God, I know I am your daughter, I know you love me and I know I am special.

My dear sisters and brothers if any of you is having troubles or feel sad don’t feel alone because we are not alone. We have somebody who is willing to hear from us, to help us with our troubles, to take care of us.

This is one of my favorite pictures. I know Jesus Christ will come again and if we obey his commitments we will be able to stand next to him and have joy and peace. When I see it I feel the Holy Spirit and I feel thankful and blessed.

I had been emotionally and physically very sick. One of the reasons is that I can’t be with the persons that I love at the same time, my family and my husband. If I have one of them I can’t have the other and it broke my heart. When I am with one of them, but not with the other, I feel emptiness in my heart, I feel that I am missing something, I feel desperate and sometimes I just want close my eyes. Have passes almost 3 years of this heartbreaking situation and I feel that I can’t stand it anymore. So Brett and I decide go to Honduras to finally I can have my two big loves together. Here is my experience about the power of the pray. We have barely the money to buy the thickets and to the expenses. I found the tickets at a good price, but when I was booking them a group of big and red words appear on the screen saying: Sorry the price of these tickets had changed, higher!!!!! I knew immediately we weren’t able to buy them. The anxiety attacks began and I could not stop crying (which is no good for my hair, I am loosing it) suddenly I felt the need of pray, I knee and talked to my heavenly father. And I continue looking for tickets by hours and in many, many websites, about 5 hours later. I found the tickets and bought them!!! I know my heavenly father heard my pray and he helped me. All that I want for Christmas is be with my family and friends, in my motherland enjoying my customs, my food and recover.

I know the love of my dear mother will help me; all that I need is peace and love. And I will have it for tons! I know if I have faith and pray my hair will stop falling (it occurs thanks to my anxiety attacks) this is only one of my many experiences.

One of my favorite holydays is Christmas. I think it is a time to forgive and to forget. To remember, but only good things, to love and to count our blessings!!!
I personally compare myself with others that have less than me. And I feel thankful, because I have a family that is priceless, a home, and the strength to fight and achieve my goals although the road sometimes turns difficult. I have a man who loves me; I am his little girl, his life and his love. I have a lovely mother who always takes care of me, who always is there for me. I have the blessing of know God, of know that I am his daughter and that his has an eternal plan for me. I have the blessing to belong to the true church, of have the book of Mormon, to have a prophet who lead me and tell me what God wants from me.
There has been always somebody who cares about me, since I was a child. I have true friends who love me as I am, they just love me how I am and I love them, I just request God give me enough love to love all those who loves me and those who don’t.
I am so thankful for have legs and be able to walk this long way. For have eyes and see God's miracles, for be a miracle! I am thankful for have so many talents and so many opportunities. I love you God, I know who I am and how much do you love me. I am so thankful with Jesus Christ who gave his life for me. Thank you heavenly father for gave me such a wonderful husband and a divine mother and for my siblings and my fathers.

Una de mis épocas favoritas es Navidad. Pienso que es una época para perdonar y olvidar, para recordar pero solo las cosas buenas, para amar y contar nuestras bendiciones. Yo personalmente me comparo con personas que tienen menos que yo y me siento agradecida porque yo tengo una familia y eso no tiene precio. Tengo un hogar y la fuerza para luchar y lograr mis metas aunque a veces el camino se vuelve difícil. Tengo un hombre que me ama, soy su niñita, su vida y su amor. Tengo una madre amorosa quien siempre me cuida, quien siempre esta allí para mí. Tengo la bendición de conocer a Dios, de saber que soy su hija y que el tiene un plan eterno para mi. Siempre ha habido alguien que me cuida desde que era una niña. Tengo amigos verdaderos que me aman tal como soy y yo los amo a ellos. Solo le pido a Dios que me de el amor suficiente para amar aquellos que me aman y a quienes no.
Estoy tan agradecida por tener piernas y caminar este largo camino. Por tener ojos y mirar los milagros del señor ¡por ser un milagro! Estoy tan agradecida por tener tantos talentos y tantas oportunidades. T amo señor, yo se quien soy y cuanto me amas. Happy birthday my little boy! Give us a reason to celebrate... and we make a big party!!! (As we need a reason to make parties!)We celebrated Brett's 26 b-day in our village it was so much fun we swam in our cool pool and in our indoor and outdoor hot tub!! On evening we went to China buffet "all you can eat" (don't say it to us because we'll empty the restaurant) those shrimps was delicious!! At night we went to dance!!! It was so weird and amazing. In Honduras we go to night clubs on heels, the prettiest clothes and the hair done, but here is the entire contrary. Boys and girls were wearing 80's clothes (I guess so) as if they were to gym instead a party; many of them were wearing tennis shoes. The good thing of that it is more comfortable to dance. Anyway we had so much fun it was an amazing night...for all o f you who know me know that dance is my life!!!

Feliz cumpleanos mi nino! dennos una razon para celebrar...y nosotros hacemos una gran fiesta!!! ( como si nosotros necesitaramos una razon para hacer fiestas!) Celebramos el cumpleanos de benson es nuesra villa, fue tan divertido. Nadamos en nuestra piscina y en el hot tube de adentro y en el de afuera. En la tarde fuimos a comer a China bufet "todo lo que puedan comer" (no nos digan eso a nosotros porque vamos a vaciar el restaurante)Esos camarones estaban deliciosos! En la noche fuimos a bailar!!! Fue super divertido y raro. En Honduras vamos a bailar con tacones, la ropa mas bonita y con el pelo arreglado, pero aqui las chavas y los chavos andaban ropa como de los 80(creo) como si fueran al gimnasio en vez de una fiesta y un monton andaban tennis. Lo bueno es que es mas confortable para bailar. Buenos la pasamos bien masiso, esa noche fue super divertida...para todos aquellos que me conocen sabes que bailar es mi vida!!!

As all of you know we both love adventures!!! Risk is our goal and adrenaline our recompense. We decide was time to feel more adrenaline through our veins so we planed a family fall break trip! Oh yea, oh yea. We began with a delicious barbecue prepared for me and cooked for Brett….so good! Yummy. Here in our village (this places is amazing has everything to have fun with)

We met Brigham Young House, beehive house. There we felt peace and the spirit so strong. Siguiendo, fuimos a explorar la manzana del templo. Fuimos al parque de Brigham Yong. vimos estatuas de mujeres trabajando en la siembra, mujeres pioneras mi respeto! Tambien fuimos a la casa de Brigham Yong. La casa de las abejas. Sentimos paz y el espiritu bien fuerte. Durante el tour nos sentimos muy agradecidos pore se hombre spiritual y valiente quien hizo tanto por la iglesia…por todos nosotros, gracias Brigham Yong.

Risk...adrenaline, we went to Timpalonagos caves. It really was an adventure! We hiked about 2 hours and half roundtrip. Actually I think it was more because we stopped in almost every good spot to take pics. And guess what I…me this little cute thing beat the claustrophobia!!!

Oh yea! That was the best b day! Vegas is a fantastic place…the city of the sin…where all that you do let there, Oh gush! I love traveling a lot, in this year I have went to Honduras, New York and Las Vegas and very soon we will go to California!!!! Stay in home? NO!!!! That is not for me, I am a traveling lover, and adventure is my life. But don’t think everything was perfect NO! an stupid stole my best friend!!! NOOO, what terrible, he stole my LAPTOP!!!! The most beautiful flowers

I came yesterday from the Big Apple. I was so desperate to see my husband that I felt the flight was eternal, but I finally arrived and there he was, my little baby waiting for me! We kissed and hugged like crazies as we always do every time when I come back from Honduras, people was watching us and smiling celebrating our beautiful and pure love (is great how people celebrate others happiness, I love see people happy) well, we got in our home and Brett had an amazing surprise for me, he gave me a bunch of flowers, do you know he got it? He climbed a high mountain! And while he was doing it he made a poem for me, a lovely poem!!! So, he told me the poem showing me the mountain and the flowers because the poem says how he got the flowers and to whom (As the poem says to the most gorgeous and lovely girl) my favorite flowers are red roses, but this are the most beautiful flowers that I ever had because of the way how they were got it. I am in New York right now and Brett is in California. There are thousands of miles between those points. Today is a cloudy day that more being so far away makes me feel so blue. But there is something that I truly know; my lovely husband loves me more than anything in this world. We had talked barely about 6 minutes in one week and half, but they were amazing! I have been thinking about him so much. I feel so thankful for having an amazing husband, He always takes care of me; he supports me, he knows me, actually he knows me more than I know myself. He tries to satisfy all my needs as a good husband, he always makes sure that I am fine and he works so hard to make our home as a piece of heaven. There are certain things that are priceless, one of them is having true love, somebody who loves and takes care of you without expecting anything in return except love. I was born in Honduras, the most beautiful place in the world (I guess for everyone his country is the best) I have 2 sisters and 4 brothers apart from my mom and dad. Some are brown like me and two are white. Since I was a child I love acting, reading, dancing and writing. I directed some plays and do everything from the casting to the set to the costumes. The actors and actresses were my siblings and my friends. I began very early to dance professionally; I did the choreography and directed the girls since I was 9. When I was in high school, my team, Latin Revolution and I won the first place in a national competition! We performed many times in different places. It was so amazing! I have those memories in the top of my heart. Also, I was the choreographer in the ward. We performed with the girls thousands of times, people loved to watched us, and I became very popular. While I was doing that I read like crazy every single good book that I could find. Do you know Tom Sawyers Adventures? I love it! Also I wrote many poems.
My book

When I was 19, I wrote my first novel, it is too romantic, too much for me! The last year, I published my first book of poem. It{s name is El Alma Esta Escribiendo, in English it would be The Soul is Writing. I dedicated it to my sister Michelle; I love that wonderful and gorgeous girl. I began studying the University at 17 years old. My major was economics, I really like that major. At the same time I was studying in the other public university, my major was Tourism and Hotel Business and teacher. I have to do the internships to graduate, I am so exited! My dreams are to be a movie maker, a good writer, a theater director and an actress. Do you think it is possible? I bet it is! The truth is I am very weird; I am not the normal girl. I am very feminist; politically speaking I am left wing. I admire Bob Marley, Che Guevara, Mother Teresa, Rigoberta Manchu, John Lenon, Oskar Schindler and obviously my mother. I love meet new cultures, I am fairy fans, I dream going to Europe and learn French, I love traveling, I love staying in the beach it is so magic! I love my family and my friends

The Begining of this Love Story

Brett and I met in 2004; I was a child, barely 19!!! Exactly I met him on July 25 and my birthday was on July 12. That day my friend, her family and I would have a party to say good bye to a missionary. So, I arrived at her house and everybody was busy doing something cleaning, cooking etc, so, there he was with his companion seated on the porch. I have always been a friendly girl so, I stayed with them talking. We talked like we were old friends. Finally, the missionary and his family arrived at my friend’s house and the party began. We ate a traditional Honduras plate. Brett, his companion, my friend’s sister and I were at the same table, I was enjoying my food when I saw the girl smiling like crazy, I asked her why and she pointed to Brett´s mouth, he had a big piece of parsley on his teeth and it looked so disgusting (Brett did not know about it till a few months ago) Brett was the replacement of the missionary who was leaving.

Well, at the time I was the pianist for sacrament meeting. The only thing that he told me was you play very good. We began a beautiful friendship. One week later from the moment I met him, he finished the mission and went back to the USA. We kept in touch, he called me while he was at the university in Pocatello, but he only could do it at 11 o’clock, when I was in class, so I tried many times to tell him, hey it was a pleasure to meet you friend, but I am busy now (the truth is I loved my professor so if I was chatting with Brett I could not see the professor) but I never could tell Brett that. Brett seemed like he needed a friend. In March 2005, he called me to tell me hey, I have to go to Iraq, but I would like that when I get back that you were there for me, would you like to be my girlfriend? We kissed for first time on November 14, 2005 at the airport, 9 month after we began being girlfriend and boyfriend and 1 year and half after we met. That kiss was so weird! I was so scared; it was like kissing a stranger, all that time we only communicated by phone and by internet. He dipped me over his arm like the soldiers coming home from WWII and gave me a big kiss, everybody at the airport was watching us and smiling like a romantic movie!!! Love you Brett ah, Brett was my first boyfriend!!!

Idaho and Montana Trip

Hi everyone, we decided continuing with our vacation. We made a trip to Idaho; we visited Yellowstone, Sand dunes, Lava hot spring and Bear world. It was so fun. I really needed, I have been to stress out, there are so many things in my head and I hope I can feel better. Also we visited my parents in law, we had a good time there too.

Park City

After a long time (3 months) without seeing each other because I was in Honduras finishing my bachelor, Benson and I decided we deserved a long vacation. We celebrated our second anniversary in Park City!! We had a great, great time…what good memories...I never will forget that hotel room neither the pool! Hahaha lol sometimes Brett gets mad at me because of the things I say, but what can I do? I am like that, it is inherent to me. Well, fallowing with the French story I discovered that the third level parking of the airport is perfect to have…a talk! What are you thinking? Now, talking seriously I feel thankful because I married to an amazing guy. Love you my little boy.

This was the first time that I saw Autum, I had just been in summer and winter. It was really cool, we walked on the orange and yellow leaves..talking about love, life, dreams and kissing each other all the time,that is something that we can't avoid! Brett has delicious lips! The most wonderful day that we have had was our wedding day. We were so excited, so happy and thankfull. There were thousands of good feelings running through our bodies..we were nervous too, beginning a home is not something easy, but it is so beautiful!
